We have been in business for twelve years in the Cowichan Valley, originally known under the name of "What's For Dinner".
We pride ourselves in providing flavourful & well balanced menus using fresh & local ingredients.
We like to work closely with our clients and pay attention to details creating a colourful, inviting presentation.
Ruth Luxton is a graduate of Dubruelle French Culinary School in Vancouver, B.C. and a receipient of the "dames d'Escoffier" Scholarship to attend the Culinary Institute of America in the Napa Valley.
Past employers include Meinhart's Fine Foods (Vancouver), Major the Gourmet (Vancouver), Aunt Leah Society (Vancouver), Arbutus Ridge Golf Course (Cobble Hill), Livingston's (Duncan) and currently Thistles Café at Glenterra Vineyards. Restaurant & catering amount to fifteen years in the food business.
Martha Robinson, for the past eight years has been cooking and baking for many clients
providing once a week home cooked dinners, freezer foods, baking for coffee shops and
desserts for restaurants as well as catering events. She has taken many culinary courses
related to her travels including Tuscany, Mexico & Turkey.
